QUALITY TRAININGS

What are the quality elements of our training proposal?

Our courses are organised to guarantee the highest possible quality to the people who participate, according to the quality standards recommended by the Erasmus+ program and which you can find here.

ERASMUS+ Program Priorities

Our courses are designed around the program priorities established by the EU:

  • Inclusion & Diversity: for 20 years we have been working with children, young people and adults with fewer opportunities, in a local context with few economic resources and many people with a migration background and difficult social situations. We have carried out projects dedicated to intercultural education, through the place we manage and where the courses will take place. The topics of our courses are directly dedicated to these topics.
  • Digital Erasmus+: all our courses are blended-learning, with a learning part that takes place online, in groups and asynchronously, to allow participants to deepen the topics of the course and become increasingly competent in the use of digital tools for training.
  • Green Erasmus+: caring for the environment and educating children and adults on environmental sustainability issues are part of our work and the management of the place. In our courses we put into practice simple energy saving actions and care for the environment: LED lights, low consumption air conditioning, coffee breaks with ecological and washable products and materials, use of paper and recycled materials. Participants will receive a Green Erasmus mobility guide, which will be sent to you in the preparation phase.
  • Participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement: Participation in democratic life and human rights education have been the basis of our work for more than 20 years. For the staff of a school or educational institution, getting to know our reality will be an important educational experience because it is a place dedicated to civic participation.

The topics of all our courses have as their objective the promotion of an inclusive school and society, attentive to human rights and where each person can increase the resources to be a responsible and active European citizen.

These are the main characters of our training:

TRAINERS

Our trainers are very knowledgeable on the topics of the courses, on the Erasmus program and on non-formal education methodologies. They have a long experience in planning and management of training activities in an international context.

METHODOLOGY

The working methodology is based on active participation, with a balance between theory and practice. Participants are an active part of learning at every stage of the work: they will receive all the information on the course and its objectives in advance, and will be involved throughout the duration of the project in the formative evaluation of learning.

VENUE

La Casa nel Parco – Casa Gavoglio, where we hold the courses, is not just “any space”: it is a welcoming and innovative Community Hub, dedicated to culture and education, where we carry out daily activities on the subjects of our courses. Here you can visit an innovative urban park, an intercultural library for children and teenagers, and get inspired for your activities. The venue is LGBTQ+ friendly and with several people with a migrant background, who actively participate in its management.
Here you can find our Facebook, Instagram and website links.

INCLUSION

The work environment is informal and welcoming, open and inclusive. Our trainers and tutors are prepared on the topics of intercultural dialogue and acceptance, which is part of the project that hosts the courses.

SAFETY AND SUPPORT

Trainers and tutors are available to support participants and provide all the information they need. The neighbourhood and the city are quiet and welcoming. In most of the city, it is possible to go around even in the evening without worrying about personal safety: the staff will be able to give you information on the best areas and on the safest way to move around the city.

DISSEMINATION AND IMPACT

Together with the training part dedicated to the contents, our staff also offers you a part (fundamental in the Erasmus+ programme) dedicated to the dissemination strategy and promotion of the project.
For this reason, we have added online workshops dedicated to these aspects: in addition to being trainers, we are also planners and we know that, in Erasmus+, it is not enough to carry out the activities, but you have to do them well and communicate them.

PREPARATION OF THE PARTICIPANTS

The preparation of the participants is part of the course and is very important to us. This is why we would help you do it well, with online meetings dedicated to the country of arrival and the topics of the course.
